Our mothership liveaboard fishing charters, depart from Weipa and cruise across to the best spots on the Great Barrier Reef. We can go from the Wenlock, to Karumba, the Torres Straits, PNG and Cairns.
We will take you to remote locations, not accessible by the day boats. Full of fine, sport fighting fish. Our sport fishing charters cater to up to nine (9) guests, for a minimum of four (4) days (no maximum).
We provide: hot and cold breakfast; fresh lunch on the tenders and mothership; dinner and desert prepared by the chef in our galley. All accommodation is in air-conditioned cabins and there’s loads of indoor and outdoor communal spaces, to relax and unwind.
Liveaboard sport fishing trips on the Great Barrier Reef are the perfect way, to spend a holiday! Pristine blue waters, coral reefs teeming with fish and many photo worthy sunsets too.
The highlight is undoubtedly the fish. Not only in their variety and size, but also their fight. We can catch and release sailfish and marlin and there’s the possibility of hooking some cobia and trevally.
Mix it up and combine sport fishing with live baiting, lure fishing or even fly fishing. All of these can be done from our well equipped mothership, the Kerra Lyn, or one of our three (3) tenders which are perfect for day trip excursions.
We cater to fisher folks of all experience levels. Novices will benefit from our experience and instruction, experts will appreciate our local knowledge and secret spots.
